Lobbyist and public affairs expert, Don is a skilled strategist, combining tenacity and patience with persuasion. Known for his ability to build coalitions and engage old friends and new in any effort, Stevens brings an attention to detail and his expertise to every issue he engages, drawing on his time in both the private and public sector. Prior to starting his consulting firm Don was an executive with Novartis Pharmaceuticals for 18 years and served the State of Texas for 14 years in the Texas Senate and the Texas State Comptroller as Chief of Staff.

Don is a graduate of St. Edwards University. He and his wife, Jennifer, live in Westlake and have three children. They are both active in their community particularly with Foster Angels of Central Texas, the Texas Wine and Food Foundation, and the Susan G. Komen Austin Affiliate. Native Texans, Don and Jennifer have spent their entire careers working in Texas politics.
